First of I think the background could use some work. The background looks like you just put it there to be ready with the drawing. the tree branches look really nice and hypnotic. I love the little light on the tree branches they geve a magical sfeer.
the for us right hand(wrist part of underarm) looks for me like he got heavly burned. If that's correct then did you drew that really good!
I would say that is this person hit the ground with this staff the time would stop.
overall this drawing looks magical and give a briliant sfeer.. Only the background could have been worked more on.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to critique this thoughtful work, the focal point of which appears to be the mysterious figure averting his direct gaze from the viewer. He is seated in a writhing branch which is shaped like tunnel of time and it seems this tree twists and turns and ends where time began. He adjusts the brim of his hat much like a woman might conceal herself behind her veil. The keeper of eternity appears at once both youthful and ageless, the withered skin on the right arm contrasting with the boyish hand holding the staff and intimates at his immortality. For me there is a strong sense of ambiguity about this person - a sense of isolation, the burden of secrets and extraordinary power. And not a hair out of place.
